About Us

Hotset America was founded in 2010 in Vermont as a distributor of heating elements for the Hotset headquarters in Lüdenscheid, Germany.  However, in a short time, the company had outgrown the facility in Vermont and had started looking for a new site.  After visiting many potential locations, the decision was made to move to Swainsboro, a small town in Southeast Georgia.  With the help of the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership (GaMEP) Hotset America expanded from 6,000 sq. ft. to a 30,000 sq. ft. facility conveniently located in Swainsboro, Georgia, just a couple hours from Atlanta, and only about an hour to the Savannah port.  

A strategic plan for the new operation included diversifying Hotset’s product lines with a new control cabinet produced for industrial machinery in the fields of plastics technology, oil and gas technology and specialty equipment manufacturing among others.  

As the customer, you receive a high-quality control cabinet that complies with international standards and the ability to quickly connect to your specialty equipment.  All electrical, electronic, and mechanical configuration and installation work is done in our facility.  Our comprehensive understanding of outsourcing allows us to accommodate our customers’ delivery requirements with the “just-in-time” principle.
